Checco is born on the privileged side of life in an Italian small town, with a guaranteed job as a public servant. When a new reformist government vows to cut down on bureaucracy, Checco is forced to accept worsening conditions. A scene of Quo go? Undoubtedly you laugh, but it also reflects, as watered-down as there is a moral, and the desire to want to deal with current issues - such as work or integration - but also the same comparison between cultures, showing how each truth can be argued. The happy-ending is written right from the start but reveals a surprise that confirms that in life there may be, when least expects, a sliding door.
