Victorian London, 1880. A dangerous area of the town of Limehouse is shaken by a series of violent murders. The frightened residents believe that none other than a golem - a clay creature from mythology, animated by magic is implicated in these monstrous and ruthless crimes. Panic fear grows, and murders continue. The police do not know what to do, so an experienced detective and inspector Kildare is appointed as a scapegoat in this case.
